We follow Katie, a young girl, who gradually discovers the intricate secrets that nature has hidden so close to her front door and we experience the joy she finds in her interactions with this new world. The film reminds us that Wi-Fi is not the only connection that matters and that sometimes in ordinary places, you can uncover extraordinary things that could transform you forever – you just need to step outside.

Take a walk down memory lane of old Singapore through archival footage shared by Dr Ivan Polunin’s archives and explore the splendour of the different flora of present day Singapore in Forest Walks with Friends.
An island’s love story will unfold in the film SENTOSA, which will premiere for the first time at the festival. The film draws inspiration from the true story of an islander who has been on Pulau Blakang Mati before it was renamed as Sentosa. This film documents the island’s conservation efforts over the years through her eyes.

Bridges to the Forest – A brilliant demonstration of the pioneering efforts of the NGO, Hutan as they collaborate with their neighbours in the Kinabatangan floodplain, to achieve peaceful human-wildlife coexistence that is key to wildlife survival.
Our Wild Neighbours – Hear from the voices on the ground on why coexistence matters, and the responsibility that each of us have, in achieving coexistence in Singapore through this short film produced for the nationwide campaign, Our Wild Neighbours.

A multi-award winning animated short film based on a true story that captivated the world. This film depicts the unprecedented grief of an orca mother, Tahlequah as she mourns her newborn baby’s sudden death by carrying her daughter’s body across the Salish Sea for 17 days and over 1,000 miles.
